As the Chief People Officer, Thilini helps shape the overall People Strategy for HealthRecon Connect. With over 17 years of experience in both HR specialist and generalist disciplines, Thilini has a deep domain knowledge of Human Capital Management within the Business Process Management Industry. While she is passionate about learning and development and technology enabled HR services, she drives the overall strategy for Human Capital Management for HRC in her current role. Her Industry experience includes 15+ years in the BPO/KPO space, Revenue Cycle Management, Finance and Accounting. During her career, Thilini has worked with multicultural teams and has supported global operations, whilst adhering to international quality and process improvement standards and industry best practices.
Thilini holds an MBA from the University of Colombo and a BA in Business Administration from the University of London.
A mother of one and an Entrepreneur, Thilini also plays an advisory role for the BPO Connect Group of companies
Rukshani possesses over 20 years of working experience in Business Process Management (BPM)
industry.
She was involved in setting up pilot operations in Sri Lanka for two outsourcing clients and
transitioning of multiple projects to Sri Lanka and India.
She currently works at Hayleys Business Solutions International (Pvt) Limited, a subsidiary of Hayleys
PLC.
She has previously worked in top tier organisations in the industry having started her BPM career
with R R Donnelley. She subsequently worked at WNS Sri Lanka and at Brandix Mercury Asia prior to
her current role at Hayleys.
Rukshani is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and holds
an Executive MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Management, Sri Lanka. She is also a trained
project manager.
Shanaka Fernando is working in the capacity of currently serving as the Senior General
Manager – Human Resources at WNS Global Services (Pvt) Ltd. He is responsible for
overseeing the HR and Training & Development functions of the Colombo operations with
over 800 full time employees. In 2014, he was appointed as a Member of the Board of
Directors of WNS Sri Lanka.
A Chartered Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Personnel Management (CIPM) Sri
Lanka and also held the potions such as Vice President, Hony. Secretary, Council Member of
CIPM. Currently he serving in the General Council of SLASSCOM. In addition to the above, he
is a Member of Sri Lanka Institute of Directors from 2015. Further he has become a
“Professional Member” of AHRP effective 2010 and also awarded “Life Memberships” of
OPA.
Shanaka has been with the WNS Group for over 15 years, possesses nearly 25 years of rich
management experience covering manufacturing, conglomerates, services and BPM sectors.
At WNS Global Services (Pvt.) Ltd. I have successfully spearheaded the HR operations during
the migration to the ‘End-to-End’ stage covering the full spectrum of HR processes.
Considered a ‘specialist’ in Business and HR Strategy, and has excelled in
harmonization/alignment of business policy for client organizations, workforce planning and
budgeting. Also he possesses an in-depth knowledge in labour/Industrial relations, employee
engagement, performance engagement, and compensation and rewards management
covering diverse employment categories including expatriates. Further he has a sound
understanding of Digital platforms and Management Information Systems.
Shanaka led WNS Sri Lanka to be the second Business Process Management Company to
have PCMM level 3 certificate for Sri Lanka in 2016.
Further Shanaka is a visiting senior lecturer for CIPM, Moratuwa University for MBA – MOT
and SLITT at Malabe.
