Dr. Suranga Nanayakkara
Associate Professor at University of AucklandBefore moving to Auckland, Prof. Suranga was an Assistant Professor at Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD) and a Postdoctoral Associate at the Fluid Interfaces group, MIT Media Lab. After receiving his PhD in 2010 from the National University of Singapore, he founded the “Augmented Human Lab” in 2011, to explore ways of ‘enabling’ human-computer interfaces as natural extensions of the human body, mind and behaviour; and has made a number of groundbreaking innovations that has benefited the entire mankind at various levels.
