Dr. Chrisantha is a Senior Research Scientist at Google DeepMind. Earned his PhD in Computer Science, University of Sussex, MD in Physiological Sciences, University of Oxford. Before joining Google DeepMind, he also served as a Lecturer in Cognitive Robotics and AI at the Queen Mary University of London

Inga holds a PhD in Particle Physics, where she researched the use of statistical methods, including Machine Learning, on beyond Standard Model Physics such as supersymmetry, dark matter and multi-Higgs models.

She works as a manager in PwC Norway, focusing on using AI and Machine Learning in an ethical and responsible manner - from strategy through execution. Her message is that the crucial ingredients in successful AI for the future are business insight, technological maturity and societal understanding, all of which must be combined into long-term strategies.

Inga is a frequent speaker at physics and data science conferences, a master project supervisor, and student counselor, and is often seen in Norwegian national media.

Dr. Rukshan Batuwita has been working in Data Science/applied Machine Learning in both industry and academia for the last 13 years.

Previously he worked as the Lead Data Scientist at Woolworths Group and Senior Data Scientist at Ambiata Ltd in Australia, where he was a founding employee. During his time in academia, he held research positions at National ICT Australia, MIT, Imperial College London, and completed his PhD at the University of Oxford, UK in Machine Learning and BSc in Computer Science at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.

Romesh Ranawana PhD currently serves as the CTO at TENGRI UAV PTE LTD. He is a former lecturer at the University of Peradeniya, Tutor at Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford and was a computer Scientist at InhibOx. He also served at SimCentric Technologies as CTO, Managing Director and Co-Founder from 2008 to 2018. Dr. Ranawana is also a member of the Management Board at the University of Colombo School of Computing since 2018.

Dr Rajitha is a former Imagineer at Walt Disney Imagineering, Walt Disney Disney Company in USA.

During the last decade, he worked with scientists/engineers/professors from different institutes and companies such as CSIRO in Brisbane, QUT in Brisbane, AutoCRC in Melbourne Australia, Walt Disney Imagineering in Los Angeles and Pittsburgh in USA and Disney Research Zurich.

During the last few years, he also collaborated with Walt Disney Studios & Pixar, Disney Research Zurich in Switzerland and ABC television media networks in USA.

In 2016, his research has been tech-transferred to ABC television media networks to create a full Data Science lab to understand audience behavior for TV shows. His research interests are in Computer Vision, Applied Machine Learning, Facial Tracking, Facial Expression Recognition and Modeling, and Machine Vision systems.

Rajitha received a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka and he completed his PhD in Computer Vision from the Queensland University of Technology in Australia.

Recently, he joined as a Senior consultant lecturer in Asia Pacific Institute Of Information Technology relationship with Staffordshire University in the UK and he also works as a AI/ML consultant at 99x Technology. He has published around 25 International academic conferences and Journals papers and he has several USA patents as well.

Samith is an accomplished Senior Leader, Data Scientist and inventor skilled in designing and developing elegant, scalable and robust solutions. He is currently the head of Data Products at The Boeing AnalytX. He directs a team of expert Machine Learning Scientists and data engineers developing a broad portfolio of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning solutions in computer vision, natural language processing, decision support, autonomy, and deep learning. Samith identifies, strategizes, and executes disruptive data science opportunities to support organizational growth. Prior to Boeing, Samith successfully lead products sand programs at Microsoft, Amazon, and CSC, in cybersecurity, retail, manufacturing, and corporate services. Samith has over 20 years of experience being in the technology industry.

Srinath is the Vice President of Research in the CTO office at WSO2.

He is a scientist, software architect, and a programmer who works on distributed systems. He is a member of the Apache Software Foundation and a key architect behind several widely used projects such as Apache Axis2 and WSO2 CEP.

He has authored two books about MapReduce and is a frequent author of technical articles. Srinath received his PhD from Indiana University, USA in 2009.

Srinath also serves as a Research Scientist at the Lanka Software Foundation, and he teaches as a visiting faculty member at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa.

Bok is currently the Sales Leader taking care of IBM Cognitive Systems business across Asia Pacific region. His focus includes building solutions for clients, and helping clients to embark on Cognitive journey to gain business benefits.

He has been in the IT Industry for more than 17 years, coupled with wide range of experiences in the IT Industry and had covered various roles such as Software Engineer in IBM GTS, Presales Architect Consultant, Competitive Sales Manager and Linux Sales Leader with IBM Systems Group.

He also has experience as a Business Manager in Technology Partner, Regional Business Development Manager for FSI sector in SI partner, and Manager for Enterprise Architect and Infrastructure Engineering in end-user environment.

His wide range of experiences has helped him to appreciate IT in various aspects - from engineering, solutions selling and deployment to achieve business benefits.
