She is an empirical technologist, a tester and a (polyglot) programmer, a catalyst for improvement, a speaker and an author, and a community facilitator. She has been awarded the two prestigious global testing awards, Most Influential Agile Testing Professional Person 2016 (MIATPP) and EuroSTAR Testing Excellence Award (2020), and selected as Top-100 Most Influential in ICT in Finland 2019&2020. She’s spoken at events in 25 countries delivering over 400 sessions. With 25 years of exploratory testing under her belt, she crafts her work role into a mix of hands-on testing and programming, and leading and enabling others. Paul Holland is a Senior Director of Test Engineering at Medidata Solutions, Inc. in New York City. Paul has over 20 years experience in software testing. Prior to joining Medidata in August 2016 he was Head of Testing at a small New York based consultancy for 2 years. Previously he spent 2 years as the principal consultant and owner at Testing Thoughts, and 17 years at Alcatel-Lucent.



Paul specializes in adapting testing methodologies to reduce waste, and be more effective and efficient. Finding ways to document only that which needs to be documented. Modifying reporting of test activities to provide actionable information to stakeholders and reduce/eliminate potentially harmful metrics.

Sandra is the Group Chief Customer Officer of Dialog and the Chairperson of the Digital Customer Experience Expert Working Group for Axiata. Sandra is also a Director of Dialog Business Services. In addition to her role at Dialog, she is a founding member and the Vice Chair of SLASSCOM, the Knowledge and Innovation Chamber of Sri Lanka, a founding member and on the Board of Women's Chamber for Digital Sri Lanka and Founding Member and past Vice President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Service Management (SLISM).

Being a trailblazer in many IT initiatives at global industry level on software reuse, engineering productivity & software sizing and architecture governance & best practices, he has an extensive experience in architecting 100+ software projects across the globe including for fortune 500 enterprises.

Prior to ADL, in his 19+ years of experience at Virtusa corporation he played the role of Chief Software Architect, who is responsible for software architecture standards, governance, capability development and R&D and a practice head role with having responsibility in building scalable organization. Adding that Thushera has served in key technical leadership roles for 2 startup companies.

Beyond that, he was appointed as a Board Member of the Academic Committee, University of Moratuwa – BIT for CODL, Board Member, CSSL (2016-2017) and committee member for the parliament select committee on AI standards for Sri Lanka
