Centre of Marketing Excellence at Singapore Management University. He has taught at the University of Washington,
Stanford University, UC Davis, Emerson College, University of Oregon, and the International Olympic Academy. He’s been
awarded "Best Professor of Marketing" by Asia's Best B School Awards, “The Most Inspiring Teacher" from SMU, and the
BAC Award from University of Oregon.
John also spent 18 years in industry practice where he led national and global marketing teams with Nike, Transamerica, and
Informix; and as an entrepreneur, starting 2 award winning companies: Northwest Resorts; and Brand New View.
John is a best-selling author, having written 10 books, including his latest, “Measuring Marketing”. Among his other books:
