Having joined the Group in 2005, Thaya currently heads the Hardware Accelerated Systems division at LSEG Technology. He has been leading the efforts of designing and building hardware accelerated hybrid solutions for the suite of capital market products offered by LSEG’s technology arm, LSEG Technology. Prior to his current role, he worked on building Smart Order Routing systems and Exchange systems, including the trading engine for the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

Thaya obtained his B.Sc in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, and also holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Having joined LSEG in 2006, Eranga currently is the Manager of LSEG’s Analytics and Automation Team where he leads the innovations and research efforts at LSEG Sri Lanka. Their main focus is to solve business problems using trending technologies such as Machine Learning, Data Warehousing, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), DevOps and Cloud. Prior to his current role, Eranga held multiple roles within Group in Data Management & Reporting and initially in his career in designing and implementing enterprise applications, disaster recovery sites, infrastructure virtualisation solutions, data backup, and archival solutions.

Eranga holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Hons in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
